YGA World Science Movement: A Project for Economic and Social Development

The World Science Movement, one of YGA’s flagship projects, is designed to nurture young minds who will lead impactful and meaningful innovations. Through this initiative, bright yet disadvantaged children and youth are given the opportunity to engage with technology. More than just an introduction to science, they learn how to apply scientific thinking to develop simple yet effective solutions to everyday challenges.

As part of the project, science kits are sent to underprivileged schools across Turkey, allowing students to explore and experiment with new technologies. Developed specifically for middle school students, these kits make science more accessible and enjoyable through hands-on experiences. With these kits, students can build their own autonomous cars and robots, once considered out of reach. They are encouraged to transform their curiosity into inventions, harnessing their imagination to develop innovation-driven thinking skills.

Through this program, children learn science by having fun, gain a scientific perspective, and grow up in close interaction with technology and innovation.

The World Science Movement, a social responsibility project led by YGA, aims primarily to inspire a love for science in children. By providing science kits filled with numerous components for innovative designs and experiments, the program opens the doors to an entirely new world for students.

By introducing children to science at an early age, this initiative empowers them to develop groundbreaking, technology-based solutions to today’s challenges.

Nurturing a Science with Conscience Perspective

As part of the World Science Movement, students collaborate closely with their teachers to develop a science-driven mindset rooted in ethical responsibility.

Teachers who successfully complete the Role Model Teacher Program integrate scientific content aligned with the national curriculum into their lessons, ensuring students receive hands-on, engaging learning experiences.

Through the program, teachers also have the opportunity to participate in science festivals and competitions alongside their selected students. These events create an environment where children can explore their potential for innovation and develop solutions to real-world challenges.

Children who grow up with a conscientious approach to science will become confident professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors of the future. With their courage and knowledge, they will play a vital role in the growth and development of their country.

The World Science Movement kits are developed by Twin Science, an international ed-tech company founded in Turkey in 2017. These kits are designed for curriculum-aligned classroom use, helping students engage with science through hands-on learning.
